They call me Rabbit and no I will not tell you why. I am one that believes that there is no vast right wing conspiracy because if there were I would have been a founding member. I am a firm believer that we as a nation have lost our ever lovin' mind! We stick our nose into other nation's business and wonder why they hate us, we pay off our maxed out credit card by raising the national debt ceiling, getting a new card and maxing it out to pay off the last one! If we keep going down this road we will reach financial ruin in less than a few decades. I am not one to rant and not offer solutions though and I have more than a few.
The only answer to the national debt is one that none of the nit wits in DC would be willing to do because they would never get re-elected but it would fix the problem not just in the short term but for the long haul. First you would have to put into place a Constitutional amendment that limits congressional spending to defense, law enforcement, and infrastructure. Anything that does not fall into one of those three is cut out of hand...welfare, gone...foreign aid, gone...scientific studies to see how monkeys jerk off in South America, gone. After you eliminate all of that trash we will have a surplus of tax dollars (and this is the tricky part for congress) that rather than spend on the three items that are allowed you PAY OFF OUR DEBT!
Sure it would take years to phase out welfare and other such entitlement programs but a lot of the super stupid spending could go over night. If we were to do this you would see the strength of the dollar go through the roof and make the 1920's look like it was just a kids birthday party with a lame ass drunk clown.
